All Invited To Chaos For A Cure Fundraiser Against Cancer

Sioux Center, Iowa — Lots and lots of semi tractors will take to the roads in northwest Iowa a week from Saturday — Saturday the 14th — to raise funds to fight cancer.

The annual “Commercial Chaos For A Cure” will leave from Sioux Center this year, according to Paul Schelling, one of the organizers of the event.

And he does mean, “everyone.” Schelling emphasizes that while the poker run is for truckers, the food and activities afterward are for everyone in the area.

Schelling tells us that they are trying to raise funds to defeat cancer.

He says no preregistration is required.

He says they’re trying something different the night before the poker run — Friday night, July 13th — with a truck light show.

The Commercial Chaos For A Cure event is during the Sioux County Youth Fair in Sioux Center, which runs Tuesday, July 10th through Monday, July 16th.
