Alton Teen Arrested On Drug Charges

marijuana pot 2Alton, Iowa — An Alton teen has been arrested on drug charges.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 2 AM Monday morning (2/25), they arrested 18-year-old Sierra Johnson of Alton on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop that occurred on Highway 60, one mile south of Alton. Upon further
investigation, the deputy located marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.

The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
