Annual Blue Finger Poker Run Is Saturday

Date posted - March 31, 2016

K&J CycleSheldon, Iowa — A traditional rite of spring will take place this Saturday.  The 32nd Annual Blue Finger Poker Run will have hearty motorcycle riders from around the area braving the elements .

Kent Lohrenz of K&J Cycle in Sheldon says the Blue Finger Run is purposely designed as the 1st poker run of the riding season.

Lohrenz says the weather for a ride held so early in the spring has often been unpredictable.

This Saturday, as it does every year, the Blue Finger Poker Run starts at K&J Cycle, on Highway 18 West in Sheldon.

If the current forecast for this Saturday holds, riders will be treated to abundant sunshine, but with temperatures topping out in the middle 40’s, riders will want to bundle up for the Blue Finger Poker Run.
