Archer, Iowa — You can have a wonderful lunch and support a good cause this Saturday during the Archer Fire Department’s Annual Benefit.
Archer Fire Chief Don DeBoer says the firemen’s wives have put together this fundraising lunch.
Chief DeBoer says the proceeds go toward operating expenses, and new equipment. And, he says, no equipment for firefighters is cheap.
He says everyone is invited to attend the Archer Fire Department Fundraising Lunch.
Saturday’s meal will be served from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Archer Fire Station. And, at least for now, Chief DeBoer is forecast to get his wish for sunshine on Saturday.
