Auto Accident near Hudson, SD

A Sioux Center woman was transported to a hospital after an accident on Friday near Hudson, South Dakota.
 
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 9 AM, 30-year-old Josh Waddell of Larchwood was driving a 1997 Peterbuilt semi pulling a grain trailer eastbound on 360th Street, Near Dipper Avenue, four miles east of Hudson, SD. He was attempting to turn onto a residential driveway. Twenty-three-year-old Brittany Haan of Sioux Center was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo westbound on 360th Street.
 
Waddell collided with Haan near the residential driveway.
 
Haan was transported to the Sioux Center Hospital by the Hudson Ambulance.
 
The Peterbuilt sustained about $5,000 in damages. The Chevrolet sustained about $16,000 in damages.
 
The Iowa State Patrol, Hudson Fire and Hudson Ambulance assisted the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office.
