Sheldon, Iowa — With summer in full swing it’s time to think about taking some steps to minimize your risk of getting skin cancer.
Dr. Ryan Becker, of Sanford Sheldon, says 1 in 6 people will be diagnosed with some form of skin cancer in their lifetime.
Dr. Becker says there are three main types of skin cancer.
He says sun exposure is one of the primary causes of skin cancer.
