Northwest Iowa — The Republican state senator who is challenging 4th District US Representative Steve King in the June primary will be making several campaign stops in the area this week.
Rick Bertrand is scheduled to be at the Doon Steakhouse Tuesday, May 17th at 5:00 pm.
On Wednesday, May 18th, Bertrand will be at Butler’s Cafe & Coffee in Sioux Center at 12:30 pm.
Thursday, May 19th, will find Bertrand at the Cherokee Main Street Pharmacy in Cherokee at 5:00 pm, and at Godfather’s Pizza in Sheldon at 7:30 Thursday evening.
Bertrand’s campaign marks the first primary challenge to incumbent Representative Steve King since he first ran for Congress in 2002.
