Sheldon, Iowa — This week’s edition of KIWA’s 55th Anniversary Hi-Lo game came to an early end when a Sheldon woman guessed the correct number Wednesday morning (October 5th), winning a $155 cash prize.
Candy Blocker of Sheldon was the designated caller, and played the Hi-Lo game shortly before 9 am Wednesday with Rachel and L.A.
Blocker visited the KIWA Studios Wednesday morning to claim her prize and told us that, although she’d been listening all week and writing down the incorrect guesses, she had a tough time getting through on the phone to actually play the game.
She says she has no immediate plans for the money, but will find a good use.
Blocker was our 5th weekly winner in the KIWA 55th Anniversary Hi-Lo Game, joining: Alice Stapenhorst of Sheldon; Robin Jungers of Boyden; Myron Klein of Sheldon; and Mike Oldenkamp of Sheldon on the winner’s list.
The Hi-Lo Game is part of KIWA’s celebration of 55 years serving northwest Iowa.
