Bloodmobile Coming To Sheldon Tuesday

Community Blood Bank Blood MobileSheldon, Iowa — The Siouxland Community Blood Bank’s Bloodmobile will be making two stops in Sheldon Tuesday (August 9th).

Siouxland Community Blood Bank Director Ken Ver Steeg talks about where their Bloodmobile will be located Tuesday morning.

Ver Steeg says, if that doesn’t fit into your schedule, there will be an afternoon session, as well, running from noon to 3:30, but at a different location.

He says they are hopeful that Tuesday’s blood drive will help push Siouxland Community Blood Bank through to the end of summer.

As Ver Steeg said, Siouxland Community Blood Bank is the sole provider of blood to Sanford Sheldon Medical Center.

Once again, the Siouxland Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will be at Village Northwest Unlimited Tuesday morning from 7:30 to 10:40, and at Sanford Sheldon Medical Center from noon until 3:30.  No reservations are necessary to give blood.
