Bloodmobile To Accept Donations In Sibley Wednesday

Sibley, Iowa — You can be a lifesaver by rolling up your sleeve and giving 20-minutes of your time this Wednesday in Sibley.

The Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile will make a stop in Sibley on Wednesday of this week, at the Osceola Community Hospital. Community Blood Bank Executive Director Ken Versteeg talls us more.

Versteeg says the demand for blood picks up during the holiday season.

He says that just one pint of blood can potentialy save three lives.

Versteeg says there are just a few requirements for being able to donate blood.

Roll up your sleeve and save a life, this Wednesday, November 22nd, when the Community Blood Bank Bloodmobile visits the Osceola Community Hospital in Sibley. They’ll be accepting donations from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, and 2:30 until 5:00 pm, and Versteeg says walk-ins are welcome.

The Community Blood Bank is a partnership between Sanford and Avera, and is the SOLE blood provider to the Sanford and Avera networks.
