Alvord Man’s Trailer Damaged When It Was Blown Over By The Wind Near Rock Valley

Alvord, Iowa — An Alvord man’s trailer was damaged in an accident on October 11 near Rock Valley.

The Iowa State Patrol reports that about 4:45 PM, 23-year-old Kyle Timmerman of Alvord was eastbound on 300th Street, three miles east of Rock Valley in a 2007 Dodge pickup, pulling a Delta trailer with round bales of grass hay on it.

The trailer rolled over from the wind. The bales fell off into the south ditch. There was minor damage to the trailer. The Rock Valley Hay Auction came to help pick-up the bales.

The unit received $5000 damage.

There were no injuries.
