Car Driven By Alton Teen Damaged When She Veered For Deer

Alton, Iowa — A minivan driven by an Alton teen was damaged in a rollover accident on Friday, September 21st near Alton.

The Iowa State Patrol reports that about 6:05 PM, 16-year-old Kimberly Streff of Alton was eastbound on 480th Street, five miles southeast of Alton in a 2003 Dodge, when she swerved to miss a deer. She lost control, and the vehicle rolled in the south ditch, coming to rest on its roof.

The Dodge Caravan received $4000 damage.

There were no injuries reported.
