Car vs Deer Accident Damages South Dakota Man’s Car Near Rock Valley

Rock Valley, Iowa — On Thursday, November 29 at 7:40 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 18, one mile west of Rock Valley.

Brian Gottlob, age 23, of Salem, SD was driving a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am eastbound on Highway 18 when he struck a deer on the roadway.

No injuries were reported.

The Pontiac sustained approximately $3,000 in damages.
