Sheldon, Iowa — Two vehicles were damaged in an accident near Sheldon on Tuesday, September 27th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 5:27 pm on Tuesday, 52-year-old Robert Hoting of Little Rock was driving a 1998 Ford F-150 northbound on Marsh Avenue, three miles northwest of Sheldon. Eighteen-year-old Ethan Bergendahl of Spirit Lake was driving a 2005 Toyota Camry eastbound on 300th Street. According to the report, Hoting drove into the intersection and struck Bergendahl.
The Ford received $5,000 damage. The Toyota received $3,000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
