Hartley Woman’s Car Damaged In Car-Deer Accident

Primghar, Iowa — The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday, September 23, about 8:50 PM, Anna Wacker, 25, of Hartley was driving a 2007 Pontiac eastbound on 340th Street when she stated a deer ran out in front of her.

Wacker swerved and lost control. Wacker then went into the south ditch and struck a fence and then went into a creek before coming to rest. Wacker was wearing restraints. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $11,000.
