Hospers Man Hits Cattle

cow cattle black white faceHospers, Iowa – A Hospers man struck cattle near Hospers on Thursday, December 17th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:08 pm on Thursday, 23-year-old Mark Toering was driving a 2004 Dodge Stratus eastbound on 400th Street, two miles west of Hospers. According to the report, Toering hit cattle on the roadway.

The Dodge received $6,000 damage. The cattle owned by B40 Farms were lost as a result of the accident at a value of $3,000.

No injuries were reported.
