Alton, Iowa — A Hospers man struck a deer on the morning of Tuesday, May 4th near Alton.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 6:01 am on Tuesday, 40-year-old Joshua Boersma of Hospers was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Highway 60, one mile south of Hospers. According to the report, Boersma struck a deer on the roadway.
The Chevrolet received $5000 damage.
No injuries were reported.
