Hull Man’s Car Totaled In Accident West Of Inwood On Highway 18

Inwood, Iowa — On February 15, 2014, at about 8:55 PM, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated a one vehicle rollover accident in the 1400 block of Highway 18, about a mile east of the Big Sioux River.
Twenty-eight-year-old Paul Vanderwaal of Hull was driving a 2007 Pontiac Grand Am when the vehicle went off the roadway onto the shoulder and Vanderwaal was unable to bring the vehicle back to the roadway. The vehicle then entered the north ditch where it rolled down into the ditch.
Vanderwaal was uninjured.
Vanderwaal’s vehicle was a complete loss.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Inwood Fire and Rescue and Canton-Inwood Ambulance personnel, and Inwood Body.
