Hull Man’s Vehicle Strikes Deer

deer portrait iowa dnrRock Valley, Iowa — A Hull man’s vehicle was damaged after his vehicle hit a deer on Sunday, November 15th near Rock Valley.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 10:02 pm on Sunday, 59-year-old Melvin Te Slaa was driving a 2012 Ford Expedition eastbound on 290th Street, 12 miles west of Rock Valley. According to the report, Te Slaa struck a deer on the roadway.

The Ford received $3000 damage.

No injuries were reported
