No Injuries In Collision Near Sioux Center

Sioux Sheriff 84-8 FacebookSioux Center, Iowa — No one was injured after two vehicles collided near Sioux Center in the morning hours of Tuesday, April 11th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 6:45 am on Tuesday, 39-year-old Jeremy Oolman was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 northbound on Harrison Avenue, two miles south of Sioux Center. Twenty-nine-year-old Brent Van Leeuwen of Orange City was driving a 2011 Ford F-350 westbound on 440th Street. According to the report, Oolman stopped for the stop sign at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and 440th Street. Oolman proceeded into the intersection and was struck by Van Leeuwen.

Oolman’s F-150 received $4-thousand damage, with damage to Van Leeuwen’s F-350 estimated at $2-thousand.

No injuries were reported.
