Osceola Authorities Arrest Three On Alcohol Charges In 2 Incidents

osceolasheriffSibley, Iowa — Three individuals face alcohol-related charges in two separate incidents in Osceola County in recent days.

Two Estherville men were jailed Thursday (July 14th) in Sibley, following an investigation into a pair of suspicious males at the Ocheyedan Pits.  Osceola County authorities say 51-year old Parish James Reed, and 62-year old Wesley John Lyons, were both charged with Public Intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.  In addition, Lyons was reportedly charged with OWI, a serious misdemeanor.  Deputies say both men were booked into the Osceola County Jail in Sibley, with bond for Reed set at $300, and $1,300 for Lyons.

A Sheldon man was arrested Friday (July 15th) as the result of the investigation into the report of a suspicious male on Northwest Blvd in Sibley.  According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year old Cory Allen Wright was booked into the Osceola County Jail on charges of Public Intoxication, a simple misdemeanor.
