Sheldon Man Hits Parked Car

sheldon police smallSheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon man’s Pontiac was damaged in an accident on Friday, August 1st in Sheldon.

The Sheldon Police Department reports that at about 5:06 pm , 33-year-old Travis McDonald was driving a 2003 Dodge Pickup leaving a parking lot in Sheldon. A Pontiac Grand Prix owned by Scott Neff was legally parked on 8th Street. According to the report McDonald was making a right turn out of a parking lot, turned too sharply and hit the left rear corner of the Pontiac, which was parked to the east of the entrance with the flatbed trailer it was pulling.

Neff’s Pontiac received $1500 damage.

There were no injuries reported.
