Sioux Authorities Seek Public’s Help

Sioux Sheriff 84-8 FacebookHospers, Iowa — The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about a Monday morning traffic accident near Hospers, to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

According to authorities, About 7:00 am Monday, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Kennedy Avenue, six miles northwest of Hospers.    Deputies say someone was driving a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country minivan southbound on Kennedy Avenue, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and entered the west ditch. The vehicle became stuck in the ditch. The driver reportedly left the area and could not be located. The Chrylser sustained approximately $200 in damage.
