Sioux Center, Iowa — A Sioux Center teen was injured in an accident when her vehicle rolled near Rock Valley on Saturday, December 24th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 11:18 p.m. on Christmas Eve, 16-year-old Trinity Vonk of Sioux Center was driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty southbound on Elmwood Avenue, four miles south of Rock Valley. According to the report, Vonk lost control the vehicle, which entered the west ditch and rolled.
The Jeep received $7,000 damage.
Vonk reported minor injuries and declined further medical attention.
