Sioux Falls Man’s Car Damaged In Car-Deer Accident Near Big Sioux River

Granite/Larchwood, Iowa — On Friday, October 5th at about 7:15 AM the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was called to a accident a half mile west of Adams Avenue on A18. That’s about a mile and a half west of the Grandview Covenant Church, or about a half mile from the Big Sioux River.
They report that 49-year-old James Anderson of Sioux Falls, S.D. was driving a 2000 Mercury that received about $3000.00 damage. Mr. Anderson was eastbound on A18 (140th St) when a deer came into his path causing the two to collide.
