A Sutherland teen was injured in an accident on Thursday, March 2nd.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 8:00 am on Thursday, 17-year-old Dalton Vander Weide of Sutherland was driving a 2001 Ford Ranger westbound on Highway 10. According to the report, there was a large patch of snow/slush packed on the roadway. Vander Weide lost control of his vehicle, entered the south ditch, rolled, and came to rest on the driver’s side.
The Ford received $3,000 damage.
Vander Weide received minor injuries but declined further medical treatment.
