Rock Valley, Iowa — Three Sioux Center subjects have been cited for trespassing after authorities say they drove their ATV’s over private land to reach a river.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says they received a complaint about trespassing on the evening of Tuesday, August 14. The alleged trespassing occurred near the intersection of 360th Street and Coolidge Avenue, about six miles southwest of Rock Valley.
Upon further investigation, it was found that ATV’s were driven on private property to gain access to the Rock River area, without the property owner’s permission.
As a result of the investigation, on Saturday, (8/18) 63-year-old Orlan Gulker, 32-year-old Kris Hulstein, and 33-year-old Adam Jeninga, all of Sioux Center were each cited for trespassing, a simple misdemeanor.
