Alton, Iowa — Two men from Omaha were taken to a hospital after an accident on Highway 60 near Alton.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Friday, February 5, about 8:00 PM, 28-year-old Kyle Seggerman, of Omaha, NE was driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty northbound on Highway 60, three miles north of Alton when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the median and rolled several times.
The Alton Ambulance took Seggerman and a passenger, 50-year-old Randal Seggerman of Omaha to the Orange City Hospital.
The Jeep sustained approximately $15,000 in damage.
Kyle Seggerman was cited on a charge of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that the Alton Fire Department, Alton and Orange City Ambulance crews, and the Orange City Police Department assisted them.
