Two Vehicle Accident In Sioux Center

Sioux Center PD Charger Door Logo OnlySioux Center, Iowa — A Gledden, Iowa man struck an Alton man’s vehicle outside of┬áthe campus of Dordt College on Wednesday, November 4th.

The Sioux Center Police Department reports that at about 10:13 am on Wednesday, 20-year-old Matthew Pottroff of Gledden, Iowa was driving a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix northbound while exiting the campus of Dordt College. Thirty-seven-year-old Adam Blom of Alton was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on 7th Street northeast. According to the report, Pottroff came to a stop at the intersection at 7th Street northeast, and attempted to make a left turn onto 7th Street northeast, did not see Blom, and as he proceeded through, collided with the pickup.

The Pontiac received $1500 damage. The pickup received $1000 damage.

No injuries were reported.
