Vehicles Driven By Little Rock Residents Damaged In Accident

Little Rock, Iowa — On Wednesday, October 1, at approximately 7:30 AM, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office investigated a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of Lyon Street and Section Line Road in Little Rock.
Thirty-one-year-old Jared R VanEngen of Little Rock was backing out of the driveway at 701 Lyon Street and struck a minivan driven by 82-year-old Lorraine L Meester, also of Little Rock. VanEngen struck the minivan in the passenger side.
Vanengen was driving a 2003 Chevy pickup owned by North West Equipment of Lake Park, IA, which received about $200 in damage. Meester was driving a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan which had approximately $1500 in damage.
There were no injuries.
