Vehicles Driven By Men From Sibley, Hospers Damaged In Sibley Accident

Sibley, Iowa — Marie Godfredson, 65, of Sibley was driving a 2001 Buick westbound on 11th St, slowing to stop for the stop sign at 2nd Ave. Kevin Boer, 47, of Hospers, IA was driving a 2008 Buick owned by Arnold’s Motor Supply of Sheldon, IA northbound on 2nd Ave and turned east onto 11th St when he failed to see the Godfredson vehicle as he was making a left turn into Dyno’s. There were no injuries. Godfredson’s vehicle sustained $3000 damage and Arnold Motor’s vehicle sustained $2000 damage. Boer was written a citation for fail to yield upon left turn.
