Vehicles Driven By Spencer Man, Sioux City Man Damaged in Hartley Area Accident

O'BrienSheriff obriensheriff O'Brien SheriffHartley, Iowa — Vehicles driven by men from Spencer and Sioux City were damaged in an accident near Hartley on Sunday (1/27).

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office reporrts that about 9 AM, 52-year-old Bradley Nair of Spencer was parked at the intersection of Highway 18 and Van Buren Avenue. Twenty-eight-year-old Grant Roskens of Sioux City was traveling westbound on Highway 18, when Roskens lost control of his vehicle due to road conditions and struck the rear-end of Nair’s vehicle. Nair’s vehicle was off the traveled portion of 320th Street.

Estimated damage to Nair’s vehicle was $1,500. Estimated damage to Roskens vehicle was $3,000.

Both Nair and Roskens were wearing vehicle safety restraints.
