Lyon County, Iowa — A male juvenile student of the West Lyon School faces charges following the investigation into an alleged case of harassment.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, their deputies responded to the West Lyon School this past Friday, March 3rd, in reference to a complaint by a concerned parent.
Upon arrival, deputies reportedly made contact with the reporting party who stated a male juvenile student had been sending threatening text messages to his juvenile daughter.
The Sheriff’s Office says their Deputy spoke with several school employees, students, and parents.
The male juvenile was cited into juvenile court for 1st Degree Harassment, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
