Boyden Teen Injured In Accident On Monday

A Boyden teen was injured in an accident on Monday.

On Monday, February 27 at 7:05 PM, the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred at the intersection of Kennedy Avenue and 300th Street, one mile north of Boyden. Eighteen-year-old Mikayla Hulley of Boyden was driving a 2002 Ford Taurus northbound on Kennedy Avenue when she lost control, entered the east ditch and rolled. Hulley was transported to Sanford Hospital in Sheldon by the Boyden Ambulance for her injuries. Hulley’s vehicle sustained about $5,000 in damages. Hulley was cited for failure to maintain control. The Boyden Fire and Boyden Ambulance assisted at the scene.
