Sheldon, Iowa – As the result of questions raised during the regular June meeting, the Crossroads Pavilion Board met in special session Wednesday, June 21st at 7:00 a.m. in the SCDC conference room at the Sheldon Community Services Center. In attendance were Trisha Meendering, Sean Hutchison, Brittany Behrendsen, Pete Hamill, Zach Sawyer, Rob Roozeboom, Lora Vande Brake, Marv Van Riesen, and Peter Wagner.
The Board made the determination to do away with a preferred caterer list for the event center. Any caterer who wishes to use the center may do so, but will be required to provide the necessary proof of insurance and licensure and must also use the dishware at Crossroads Pavilion, which was approved at the morning’s meeting.
The board then met in closed session to discuss Event Coordinator wages.
