“Coats For Kids” (and Adults) A Success Again This Year

Date posted - November 7, 2012

Sheldon, Iowa — We’ve received a statement from Jeri Postma from “bubbles and Bee Kleen”, who cleans all the coats for Coats For Kids.

Postma says that the 12th annual Coats for Kids was successful again. Thanks to the volunteer efforts of many people and organizations. We received 496 coats and 644 hats, mittens, scarves and gloves! All of us at bubbles want to sincerely thank everyone who, donated coats, time and effort to make this a success. Our employees who worked diligently, Gordon’s Shoes for repairing zippers, Don’s Leather cleaning and the Ministerial Association for distributing the coats. Everyone’s generosity has helped to bless many families. This event shows that in Sheldon-Families really do come first!
