Cold & Rain Expected

Rain is on the way for your Thursday, but the first half of the day may stay dry. We’ll see increasing rain chances by the afternoon, continuing through the evening. Amounts won’t be that high, but some spots could see a half inch of rain. Temperatures will remain nearly 20 degrees below normal today, and that trend continues into the weekend. Most of the upcoming weekend will be dry, but watch for increasing rain chances late on Sunday with widespread rain on Monday.

Get ready for an extended period of cool and wet weather. The temperature outlook over the next two weeks continues to show much of the country with below normal temperatures.

A wet pattern is developing for the region, with widespread rains in many areas over the next 7 days. The greatest rainfall risks will be Thursday afternoon and evening, with an extended rain risk from Sunday night through Wednesday. The greatest risks for heavy rains are early next week.
