Construction Underway Downtown, But Weather Has Forced A Change
Date posted - June 26, 2013
Sheldon, Iowa — Construction is underway in downtown Sheldon on a project that should make for a nicer street and a more decorative downtown — but a change has been made to the way the construction is going to take place. We had a chance to talk with Sheldon City Manager Scott Wynja.
As you may have noticed — Wynja mentioned a two-block area is under construction. He says that’s not they way they wanted to do it, but the weather has forced their hand.
He says that they remain committed to keeping access to every business downtown during the construction.
Wynja also gives us an update on the other major street project in Sheldon — the Highway 18 project.
If you have any questions, contact the city office, or the SCDC office.
