Sheldon, Iowa — Nuisances and Dangerous Buildings will be the main topic of the Sheldon City Council meeting to be held this Wednesday October 3rd. The Council will continue a discussion that began at an earlier meeting. The Council will also act on a request from the Northwest Iowa Regional Trust Fund. This fund helps individuals to remodel or upgrade their homes. The contributions in O’Brien County are based on population.
Sheldon’s share amounts to $2,343.93, or about one third of the county’s total. The money has already been included in the City budget
In other business the Council will hold a discussion of proposed city manager employment conditions.
Wednesday’s Council meeting begins at 4:30 in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
