Crash Near Larchwood Casino Sends Sioux Falls Man To Jail

Lyon County Sheriff Car Door 60-8Larchwood, Iowa — A crash near the Grand Falls Casino turned into an arrest for drunk driving for a Sioux Falls man this past week.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Sunday, July 21, 2013, just after midnight, their deputies were called to the report of an accident at the Grand Falls Casino on Highway 9, six miles northwest of Larchwood.

After an investigation, officers arrested 28-year-old Mekh Bhandari of Sioux Falls on a charge of operating while intoxicated, a serious misdemeanor.

Bhandari was transported to the Lyon County Jail in Rock Rapids.
