Dash In The Snow To Combine Running, Goodies

Sheldon, Iowa — As fun runs go, it’s a frigid one, but a fun one.

One of the Christmas activities going on in Sheldon this year is a “Dash in the Snow”. It’s coming up on Saturday, December 10th at 10 AM.

Sheldon Chamber Coordinator Shanelle Matus tells us about it.

Matus says people are invited to come in costume.

She says participation is free and no pre-registration is needed, but you should show up a few minutes before 10:00 a.m. so you can get registered and they can explain the route.

Matus says after the Dash In The Snow, it’s time to warm up with goodies.

She says it’s called “Dash In The Snow,” but it will take place whether there is snow on the ground or not. However, since it’s in the winter, certain weather could end up cancelling the event, so stay tuned.

As always with winter activities, keep it tuned to KIWA or go to the Closures and Delays page at kiwaradio.com to see if the weather is going to allow them to happen as scheduled.

Again, Sheldon’s Dash In The Snow is this Saturday, December 10th, starting before 10 a.m. at the Sheldon Community Services Center.
