Sheldon, Iowa — A Spencer woman who wants to represent the Democrat party in this fall’s election against Republican incumbent Steve King for the 4th District congressional seat was in Sheldon during this week’s storm, and stopped by the KIWA studios.
Leann Jacobsen is a mother, grandmother and businessperson who told us a little bit about her background.
We asked Jacobsen what motivated her to run for congress.

She was in Sheldon to hold a meet and greet, but after traveling through the winter weather from her home in Spencer, decided to reschedule the Sheldon event for a later date.
