“Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” Opens Friday At Sheldon High School

Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon High School Theatre Department’s fall musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels opens for a two-night run this Friday evening.

The musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based on the 1988 Michael Caine and Steve Martin movie of the same name. The musical comedy was written in 2004, and premiered on Broadway in 2005.

Jack Stevenson is a cast member in the Sheldon High School Production, and he gives us a sneak peek at the plot of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Another member of the cast is Jesse Hickman, who tells us more.

Lexi Merley tells us about her character, Christine.

Merley says Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is funny for people of every age.

Stevenson says the production has something for everyone.

Hickman says he thinks you’re going to like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be performed by the Sheldon High School Theatre Department this Friday and Saturday evening (November 9th and 10th) in the Sheldon High School Auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students, and may be purchased at the Sheldon High School Office, or at the door.
