Disturbance At Sheldon Motel; Three Cited

A disturbance at the Sheldon Motel on Wednesday resulted in the citation of three Sheldon residents.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports they responded with the O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office and the Sheldon Police Department, about 11:10 PM to a report of a disturbance at the Sheldon Motel.
When officers arrived, they found that a room had been broken into by three individuals, which caused damage to one of the doors. The sheriff’s office arrested 21-year-old Mateo Carmelo-Gomez, 25-year-old Andres Carmelo-Gomez, and 19-year-old Lucas Ramos-Lucas, all of Sheldon.
Mateo Carmelo-Gomez was charged with Public Intoxication, a simple misdemeanor. Andres Carmelo-Gomez was charged with Supplying Alcohol to a Person Underage, a serious misdemeanor, Public Intoxication, a simple misdemeanor, and Criminal Mischief in the 5th Degree, a simple misdemeanor. Lucas Ramos-Lucas was charged with Possession of Alcohol Underage, a simple misdemeanor.
