Sheldon, Iowa — Donations to the 2017 Sheldon United Fund continue to come in at a good pace.
The drive continues through the rest of the year. The goal this year is $31,000.
The fund drive is now 22% finished. The funds are at about 44% of goal, at $13,649. Over $17,300 has yet to be raised. To finish on goal, the drive now needs to average about $1735 per week through the rest of the year. In the last week, donors gave $2395.
Contributions to any or all of the organizations served by the Sheldon United Fund may be left at five locations in Sheldon: Citizen’s State Bank, Iowa State Bank, Northstar Community Credit Union, Northwestern Bank, and Peoples Bank, or you can also send them to PO Box 41, Sheldon, IA 51201. Explanations of the organizations are also available at the dropoff points.
