Doon Steakhouse Burglarized For The Second Time In Three Days; Thieves Take Safe

Lyon County Sheriff Car Door 60-8Doon, Iowa — The Doon Steakhouse in Doon has been burglarized for the second time in three days — and this time the burglars stole the whole safe.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that it appears that the suspect or suspects entered through the same door and removed the safe out of the office area.

A “miscellaneous” amount of cash was in the safe.

If you have any information in reference to these burglaries, you are asked to call the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department at 712-472-8300.

    Wow, no cameras? If not, why not? If so, then get it out to the public. These people have to be from the area. Any of the help see anybody “casing” the joint? How many people knew about the safe being where it was? Was it easily seen by the customers? Just askin’
