Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council will meet Tuesday March 15th at 5 pm. The agenda for this meeting includes consideration of the audit for the 2014-15 fiscal year and discussion in regard to the Community Development Director Position. The Council will also set the Date and Time for a public hearing on the Hangar Project at the airport.
The proposed Events Center is also again on the agenda. At this meeting they will set the date and time for a Public Hearing on plans and specifications and the form of the contract for the events center project. They will also be asked to address a resolution fixing the date for a meeting on the authorization of a loan agreement and the issuance of up to $3,4-million in General Obligation Capital Loan Notes for “essential corporate purposes”, and providing for publication of notice thereof.
This meeting will be held Tuesday at five pm in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center. Please note the change in date from the Council’s normal Wednesday meetings. This week’s Council meeting will be Tuesday at 5 pm.
