Extension Expert Says Feedlot Runoff Could Be Easy To Manage
Date posted - February 20, 2013
Northwest Iowa — It’s been pretty dry lately, but farmers always need to consider feedlot runoff issues. In fact, Iowa State University Extension expert Kris Kohl says it might be more of an issue when we are in a drought situation.
He says if farmers are interested in talking to him about their feedlot and maybe coming up with a plan, they can call him, and he’ll come out and see what can be done. Kohl can be reached at 712-730-5068.
