Sioux Center, Iowa — A pair of Republican Presidential candidates will speak at the Family Leader’s Northwest Iowa Regional Summit this coming Tuesday at the Dordt College Campus Center in Sioux Center.
Family Leader President Bob Vander Plaats says the purpose of these summits is to introduce candidates to his organization’s base.
Vander Plaats tells us that Tuesday’s Northwest Iowa Regional Summit will have a somewhat more narrow focus, however.
He says that two Republican Presidential candidates, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum have committed to speaking at Tuesday’s event.
Vander Plaats says that, in addition to the two Presidential Candidates, former Senate Primary candidate Sam Clovis will also speak at the event.
He says that the Family Leader’s Northwest Iowa Regional Summit is a free event, but tickets will be required.
