Orange City, Iowa — If you’re headed to or through Orange City this weekend, we remind you that it’s RAGBRAI time and Orange City is the starting city this year.
Thousands of bike riders will descend on Orange City on Friday night and Saturday and leave on the ride on Sunday morning. The 45th annual event will challenge bikers to one week of riding that averages 57.5 miles each day and ends at the Mississippi River in Lansing.
Orange City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Mike Hoffman tells us that his office is taking a number of last-minute calls and final preparations continue.
Hoffman highlights a few of the activities and opportunities that will be available for riders and others on Saturday.
